Hi! I’m Christopher Williams.

I believe that a life outdoors is the key to personal freedom and happiness.

My Story. I grew up in Cookeville, TN. Which is a relatively small town, but don’t tell them that. They have big city dreams. I did not spend my entire life there though. I did live in Jacksonville, FL for a while as well. I joined the Marine Corps in 2005 and have spent the last 18 years enjoying my time serving my country. I didn’t spend as much time outdoors until that point. The Marine Corps definitely got me used to playing in mud and sand. However, I enjoyed it, and it has made me into the person I am today.

My favorite activities are hiking, camping, riding bikes on the road and mountain bikes, and surfing. I currently live in SoCal, and there are so much outdoor activities that you can do there.

Military Service

I have been in the Marine Corps for 18 years, and I am planning to retire at 20 years of service. I joined the military in 2005, and I have been around the world thanks to the military, and it has made me more of an outside person than I ever thought possible. Because of this I have been able to test equipment of all types including, ruck sacks, backpacks, clothing, boots and shoes, tents and other equipment. I have been to places with weather that has been above 100 degrees to weather that has been in the negative temperature range. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to share what I have learned from my experiences to share with my audience.
